Rob Bhatt

Rob Bhatt is a licensed insurance agent and a senior writer for LendingTree.

He earned his insurance license in 2020 and sold auto, home, renters and life insurance for Farmers Insurance and AAA Washington. In those roles, he learned how almost every client has a different set of insurance needs.

Rob joined the content team at LendingTree in 2021. As a senior insurance writer, he shares his expertise with shoppers looking for the insurance coverage they need at the best available prices. Before getting his insurance license, Rob was a writer and editor for several newspapers and magazines, including AAA Washington’s Journey magazine.

A hit-and-run driver once damaged Rob’s parked car about a week after he bought it. Fortunately, his agent had added uninsured motorist coverage to his policy. Even though Rob still had to pay $300 out of pocket for repairs, the coverage saved him more than $1,000 in additional expenses. Better yet, his car was good as new in about a week.
