We took a look at the Barclaycard credit cards pick out cards that stood out. With the luxury travel industry being one of the prime drivers of credit card spending recently it's no surprise that many of their best offerings come in the form of travel rewards.

Best Barclaycard Credit Card For Travel Miles: Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite

The Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite is Barclaycard's most popular credit card offering due to its much higher than average rewards rate. It's one of the few credit cards that offers double miles on all spending, and even kicks in a 5% redemption bonus anytime you redeem your miles for statement credits on travel. There's almost no reason you wouldn't choose to do so, since the miles convert at a penny a piece meaning you get a little more than 2% back on all your spending. While the card does have an annual fee of $89 dollars a year, the robust signing bonus that offers new cardmembers 40,000 miles for spending 3,000 in the first 90 days more than makes up for the yearly cost. Better yet, the annual fee doesn't apply on your first year of membership.

Top No Fee Barclaycard Rewards Credit Card: Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard

The Barclaycard Arrival is the no fee counterpart to the Barclaycard Arrival Plus. In exchange for having no annual fee, the rewards structure has been toned down a little. It still remains a rewarding credit card with double miles on dining and travel expenses, but only a single mile per dollar spent on all other categories. Similarly the signing bonus is a little less lucrative at 20,000 miles for $1,000 in spending during the first 90 days. Nearly all other major features remain the same between the two cards, so the no fee version can be a really good option as a travel specific credit card. If you're using the card mainly or dining and travel expenditures, you'll effectively get the same rewards rate as the Arrival Plus. The miles you earn with this version of the card are valued exactly the same way with each mile worth a penny when you redeem for travel expenses.

Barclaycard Credit Card Bonuses: Cards with Notable Perks

While the cards we've already mentioned have the best overall value from a rewards standpoint, Barclaycard has a number of other card offerings that have special bonuses and perks that might interest you. Overall these bonuses may be a little harder to use, but can be very valuable in the right hands.

Companion Tickets on International Flights: Premier Miles & More World Mastercard

The Premier Miles & More MasterCard, structured somewhat like the US Airways card, is Lufthansa's loyalty program credit card. It offers double miles on Lufthansa related purchases and one mile per dollar spent otherwise. The key feature for the card is the Companion Ticket offering that gives you an additional ticket on an economy class fare on any flight beginning in the United States and traveling to Europe, the Middle East, Africa or the Far East. When you consider the cost of an international economy class flight these days, thats a huge savings even compared to the US Airways companion certificate offer.
