- The ThankYou® rewards program is not as robust as some of its competitors
- Bonus is not as good as ones we’ve seen on similar cards
Review: Is the AT&T Access Card from Citi a Good Value?
The AT&T Access Card from Citi provides consumers with decent rewards - an effective rate of 2% in two situations: when they shop online at eligible websites, and when they buy AT&T products and services. If your credit score is high enough, you will be better off with a card like the Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer. The Citi® Double Cash Card is not just limited to online and brand-specific categories.
One of the more disappointing aspects of the AT&T Access Card from Citi is its relatively weak welcome bonus. Users can Get a $100 statement credit when you spend $250 on AT&T products and services within 3 months of opening your account. We value the bonus at roughly $100. We’ve seen similar credit cards offering bonuses as high as $200. Therefore, if you are looking to grab a lot of value, in a short period of time, there are better options.
Outside of the best cash back cards, very few credit cards offer rewards for online shoppers as good as the ones we see on the AT&T Access Card from Citi. If you find yourself frequently ordering things online from retail stores, or booking online travel, the AT&T Access Card from Citi will earn you a 2% rewards rate. While not an earth-shattering number, it’s one that adds up quickly for shopaholics.
Bottom Line: The AT&T Access Card from Citi is a decent ‘No Annual Fee’ credit card for individuals who love shopping online. If you can look past the low welcome bonus, only a few credit cards offer what the AT&T Access Card from Citi does, at this price point.

If attainable, the Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer is the better choice over the AT&T Access Card from Citi. The Citi® Double Cash Card lets you Earn 2% on every purchase with unlimited 1% cash back when you buy, plus an additional 1% as you pay for those purchases. AT&T Access Card from Citi vs AT&T Access More
Please note that the AT&T Access More has been discontinued. The AT&T Access More is the premium version of the AT&T Access Card from Citi. It comes with higher rewards rates, an introductory APR offer (0% introductory APR for 7 months from date of account opening on), and one of the best bonuses in the credit card industry. The catch is that in order to get the AT&T Access More you must deal with a $95 annual fee. This fee becomes a lot easier to swallow if you can take advantage of the card’s fantastic bonus offer.
