These sample quotes were obtained from our California auto insurance rate comparison for a 2012 Toyota Camry with 15/30/5 liability limits. Based on California data, Access ranked among the cheaper half of the fifty two companies surveyed with overall car insurance rates that were 4% cheaper than the state average. In the sample above, we see that car insurance rates at Access are lower than Esurance or Allstate, with the exception of Allstate's rates for a pair of husband and wife motorists in their mid 60s - they'd save 25% off of Access's rates by getting quotes at Allstate.
We've also provided quotes from USAA - if you're a member or family member of someone in the armed forces, these are by far the best rates you can get on auto insurance. If we compare the average of the composite profiles, rates from Access are 61% more expensive than USAA's ($1,058 vs. $656). Those are savings of about $402 on average on a composite basis. These data points illustrate the importance of getting at least three quotes from different auto insurers.
